Digital Savages
I co-founded Digital Savages (brand: SEO Savages) with Robert Kowalski because the standard agency model doesn’t work for the kind of growth we wanted to build. Too many layers between strategy and execution. SEO disconnected from product and systems thinking. Account managers relaying messages between founders and junior specialists. We built DS as the opposite: two founders who do the work directly, maximum six clients at a time, vertical exclusivity — meaning we won’t work with your direct competitor at the same time — and no junior account managers.
I bring the behavioral science, product logic, information architecture, and SEO systems side. Robert brings the growth execution, outreach, and content operations. The two-founder model works because every client gets both perspectives on every decision.
We’re especially effective in complex, expert-led categories — legal tech, psychometrics, health interpretation, AdTech — where shallow SEO fails because the subject matter requires real understanding to structure well. If the domain is hard, we’re a better fit than a generalist agency.
What We Do
We run four practice areas:
Programmatic SEO — Building hundreds or thousands of data-driven pages that rank for long-tail keywords at scale. These systems are built from structured datasets, taxonomies, templates, internal linking logic, and conversion-aware landing page design. The goal is pages that genuinely solve distinct user intents, not inflated index size. We grew Gyfted from zero to 1.2 million organic users per year using this approach, with a 27%+ sitewide conversion rate and 32% month-over-month growth sustained over a full year. Prawomat is another proof case: 1,200+ programmatic landing pages in legal tech, where precision and procedural accuracy matter as much as scale.
AI SEO / AI Optimization — Optimizing brand visibility in LLM-generated answers across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The approach is structural: making a brand and its expertise machine-legible across the sources and entity patterns that LLMs repeatedly draw from. We build brand signals through earned media, place content on sources LLMs actually rely on (Reddit, Quora, YouTube), and create citation-generating assets like original research, calculators, and interactive tools. These assets aren’t marketing add-ons — they’re core acquisition infrastructure, and my research and measurement background means they’re built to be genuinely useful, not just citation bait.
Product-led SEO — Turning the product itself into an organic growth engine. This works especially well when the product contains structured logic or repeatable user questions — assessments, legal document generators, health interpretation tools, calculators. Free tools that solve real problems, user-generated content at scale, data products that attract citations, and in-product indexable experiences. At Gyfted, free career and personality assessments drive organic traffic because they’re genuinely useful instruments, not content pieces dressed up as tools. We care about engagement and conversion, not just traffic numbers.
Fractional SEO — We operate as an embedded strategic partner, shaping organic growth direction, information architecture, roadmap priorities, and scalable acquisition systems. Slack, WhatsApp, weekly strategic meetings — we plug directly into the founder’s workflow. No keyword reports for the sake of reporting. We move fast because startup speed demands it.
Who We’re For
Post-product-market-fit startups where organic acquisition is a viable channel, the founder is directly involved, and the category rewards trust and expertise over volume. Our clients include companies in talent assessment, legal tech, AI health diagnosis, AdTech, and corporate law.
We cap at six clients because focus, speed, and implementation bandwidth are what make the model work. Every client gets founder-level attention, which means we have to be selective about how many we take on.
Who We’re Not For
Companies looking for cheap content volume, monthly ranking reports, generic backlink packages, or outsourced account management. If you want someone to “do SEO” as a line item, we’re the wrong team.
How We Work
The philosophy is systems over manual effort. Everything we build is designed to compound: more pages, more traffic, more conversions, without linear increases in work.
We publish extensively on our methodology — guides on programmatic SEO, AI optimization, and product-led growth — because writing forces clarity, because transparency is how we build trust, and because our best clients tend to prefer depth and clear thinking before buying. They find us through the work itself.
At the end of the day, we’re a systems company that happens to do SEO. We don’t sell isolated optimization tasks. We design organic growth systems that compound.
