This year trip across India (2010 that is) ended two days ago, and it’s high time to get some pictures ready!

Just when we were about to end our trip we had a plane to catch in Thiruvananthapuram (and honestly – Lonely Planet is wrong! There is completely nothing to see : ) so if you can, just stay away). While looking for a liquor store we came across, something I love and at the same time, something that’s really hard to see in India – an (almost) open-air market (selling mostly bananas). Besides dirt and weird fragrances I noted this man. He sat proudly inside his banana kingdom and not even tried to persuade me to buy some of his precious goods. Just kept smiling. When asked for a photo he had only one condition – let everybody know he sells the sweetest, the most succulent and simply best bananas around and if anybody I know will ever land in Trivandrum, should come to Connemara Market and try them out .
